Hi Alida, I wondered if Lupus UK had thought of doing any online meetups? I'm out in the sticks and, like many of us, don't have the energy for a lot of travelling. It would be great to have a chat with others in the same boat!

What a great idea. I live miles away from my closest group too.

Hi CavendishCool

Thank you for your reply. Many of our groups have been holding online meetings throughout the pandemic, to enable us to keep in touch with each other. If you would like to email me at alida@lupusuk.org.uk, I will be able to arrange for you to attend one.

Many thanks.

Kind regards

Alida

Hi Sarah

Thank you for your message. We have groups in Pocklington, Harrogate and Leeds, but I believe Pocklington would be your nearest currently. Another option is our online group which is run from Cardiff, but welcomes people from all areas.

I am not sure whether you would consider hosting a group in your own area - we are always happy to discuss the possibility of starting new coffee and chat groups in areas where we do not currently have them.

If you would like to have a chat, or if you would like me to put you in touch with our Pocklington host, then please email me at alida@lupusuk.org.uk.

Kind regards

Alida
