Happy New Year to you all - I took this pic at Christmas , Mira absolutely adores my son with Downs Syndrome as you can see here, she is so gentle with him .
Just an update on me - my kidneys are fine but my bloods are not so I’ve stopped my methotrexate and am having weekly blood tests but now I’m in an awful lupus flaire - the worst I’ve ever had but we are lupus warriors and just got to get on with it .

If it helps, you are not alone I’m also in quite a bad state. I’m nothing but a turnip in a chair. We didn’t start 2022 the way we’d like, yes? Here’s to later today, tomorrow and next week!🐶🐶🥳

Oh no that is not a good start to the year for you. I am so sorry. Can your Rheumy suggest anything to help? Mira is just lovely. Your son is very handsome. How lovely that they are best buddies. I hope the awful flare can be tamed and that you start to recover. Big Cwtches to you xxx
My rheumy has suggested steriods which I’m not keen but I may not get a say in it - depends what my bloods say this week xx

That’s a miserable start to the New Year. I hope your GP is able to help on Thursday. I find Cammomile tea with some honey helps to soothe things a little during flares. I hope this will soon pass and your happy event this summer will be something wonderful to look forward to. Take care and let us know how you get on.💕🤗😘xxx
