Serious sign but it made me chuckle

Although it is many years since I photographed this notice on Port Macquarie beach in New South Wales, it always comes to mind when I see litter strewn on our roadsides and public areas. Sadly there are a lot of tossers all over the world.

I grew up in Australia until the age of 15 so know how down to earth Aussies are, so this sign made me chuckle despite its serious message. Hoping you enjoy it too.

Aww, thank you Cecily, I’m so pleased they make you smile. We can all do with more of that especially with so many tossers around. 🤭 We mustn’t let them get us down. 😁 Good to hear you are getting there. I’m not bad thanks. I had another nosebleed whilst bending over picking off some dead leaves from a plant in the garden.🤷🏼‍♀️ Luckily it stopped quite quickly this time but if it happens again I’ll tell my GP. I started an iron tonic 😝 which is helping to restore some energy thankfully. 👍🏻👍🏻 Hugs. 🤗xx

Oh they are nasty aren’t they. Thankfully the cauterisation stopped mine. After eight days of it I was so fed up. Have you checked your BP? Mine was high but the ENT doctor said mine was due to Bechets sores xxx

The cauterisation I had of the left nostril in October appears to have cured it so I hope the cauterisation of my right nostril will do the same and that the recent one on Friday was just a wee glitch. 🙏🏻 Yes we checked my BP during the massive bleed and it was up but the doctor at A&E assured me it wasn’t at a level they’d be concerned. I’m on daily aspirin too for angina but he didn’t think it was responsible either. It is good you at least know what has caused yours but I’m pleased the cauterisation has stopped them now and long may that last!🙏🏻 🤗😘xx

Amen to that I was exhausted with 8 days and nights of it. My BP was up too but not enough to put my meds up for more than a few days. I hope that we both have seen the end of them 🤞🏻 xxx

It is exhausting and draining of all energy. But I hope we both have seen the last of them now as you say. 🙏🏻 xxxx

Glad you like the sign Misty. I agree we need them everywhere. If you read my reply to Suzannah it might explain why the council do nothing about the litter bugs! 😂🤣 But it does make you wonder what sort of homes and environemnts these litter bugs live in. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Thanks for your concern about my short nosebleed on Friday. Nothing since and long may that last!🤞 Take care Misty. 🤗😘xx

You wouldn’t believe it but I was following a council vehicle years ago and out of the passenger window came a sandwich packet, followed shortly afterwards by a drinks can and finally by the cellophane wrapping of a packet of cigarettes! I memorised the registration number but by the time I got home and had calmed down I lost the anger I needed to report them. I regret that to this day.

😂😂There are plenty of them about! Next one I come across I’ll say “Take your litter home with you” and they won’t have a clue what I’m talking about! 🤣🤣 Take care SV 🤗😘xx

Made me chuckle 😹 Certainly need that sign round here, especially as there are two schools nearby. Being extra careful at the moment as there is an outbreak of COVID in both the primary and secondary school 😞 Holidays start on Friday so fingers crossed that will nip it in the bud. Xx

Oh dear that’s worrying and disappointing GE but hopefully as you say the holidays will stop the spread. 🙏🏻 Glad you enjoyed the sign. 👍🏻👍🏻 xx
