Today is World Lupus Day

Hi everyone,

Today is World Lupus Day! We hope that you can join us in making this disease more visible, helping to improve awareness and understanding.

If you are on any of the social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, please look out for all the content (organised by the amazing Chanpreet_Walia ) and share it.

Remember, we'll have a live virtual seminar about "Getting the most from your medical appointments" from 6pm (BST) today. I'd love for you to join me. If you're not registered yet, there is still time. Just go to lupusuk-virtual.org.uk/

Many of you will know that I had a place in the London Marathon 2020 and ended up completing it virtually in October. My place in the event has been carried over to October 2021 and I've been training hard. I'll be completing the 26.2 miles in my wolf costume, raising funds for LUPUS UK. It would mean the world to me if any of you were able to sponsor me today - justgiving.com/fundraising/.... I hope to make you all proud.

Just a thought, as I almost missed this post; I feel sure many folk would like to donate, is there any way you could make this post more regularly visible, ie popping up at the top of the feed daily? If members don't visit daily things are very easily missed.

You're putting in huge efforts, all for SUCH a good cause, I feel sure members would be supportive of a daily feed and update.
