Ive got little and large today for this weeks cutie pic. A very nervous border collie pup having his first encounter with a sheep. A texel lamb called Thumper.
I think they'll get on very well , do you?.

Hi Suzannah, no i didnt, bet it was lovely to see. My pic was taken at a farm in Yorkshire. Be funny if it was the same one. Do hope you've enjoyed today despite such cold weather. Down south here we've still had frosts and been cold but with beautiful sun.

Thank you for your lovely wishes. Yes weathervane, hopefully op should get rid of this awful pain as it will be removed. It is good that chronic pain is in the news more. Its poorly researched and thought about even in hospital. When you think it covers all specialisms its ridiculous isnt it?. . Its got to change! There are too many of us living with chronic pain on a 24/7 basis.

I agree 100% ! I have lived with pain for years , it can wear you out when its particularly severe. The sun is shining here but we have a cold breeze , hopefully the snow will blow past us xx🐣🐣

What a gorgeous puppy. I used to have a Welsh collie, bred from working stock, but she was frightened of sheep! She used her rounding up skills well when playing ball, though.😁 The sun is shining here and my little granddaughter is here for her Granny day, so I shall have some fun. Happy Easter Monday.🐇

Thank you Misty. I am in hell at the moment. Cellulitis, phlebitis, Bechets flare and last week I tore tendon and muscle at the back of my knee so I am screaming a lot and finding standing, walking, sitting excruciatingly painful. I have the fracture clinic tomorrow so I hope they can offer advice and treatment to ease the pain. Fingers crossed. I hope you are doing better Misty? Like you I just love animals too. Oh cecily, im so sorry at whats happened. Good luck with fracture clinic, they will make recommendations. I really feel for you about pain. Im in agony from my toe after a foot fracture two years ago now. Ive finally got my op date thru for 14/4 not long now. Pain just grinds us down and flares our illnesses. I felt that way about my damned knees. I went for pre op assessment six times. Each time I was deemed unfit. Infections, pleurisy, thyroid function not compatible with surgery, angina then last time I had only lost a stone and they wanted 19 lbs and told me that my new knee would probably collapse under my bulk. I discharged myself hen I had had enough. That was three years ago and with my asthma, stomach bug, cellulitis, phlebitis and now my I jury I have gained three stone so I am expecting to get grief. I do hope they are able to see past the weight and help me because I have lived in constant pain for the past five years since my knee dislocated and stopped me using the gym. I have to say I am nervous that they will just view me as fat and worthless. Fingers crossed they will try and help that is all I ask xxx

Lovely collie pup and sweet lamb!! My Luath would surely jump in there too for a play if she were allowed!!
She is off working stock and has mega working instincts but we trained her to avoid sheep from being a young pup and she is very good near them.
Am thinking about you so much as your date for op draws near!!

It must have taken a lot of luath training to stop him herding /chasing sheep as collie instincts are so strong as they are working dogs!. Im sure you've done such a good job with him.
Thank you so much for your good wishes for my op and your lovely Easter card. It still seems a bit surreal and ive just re-done my pre-op assessment so another milestone done. Hope its not cancelled or changed now as im getting so much organised so i can just concentrate on recovery!.
