I haven't posted on here for a while (usual story - busier working from home than in the office. Dusk till dawn in front of a screen. All talked out from meeting after meeting after... Night time comes and last thing I want is more screen time etc).
Anyway, where was I??? Oh yes! I was going to tell you about something silly I done last Friday....
As I've been shielding, I've hardly been properly out of the house bar a few late night walks and some cycling.
Then the other day, as the weather was great, I thought let me go out on a proper stroll and get some very much needed vitamin D. So off I went to some fields close by. After about a mile or so, the sun was truly beating down on me and then I suddenly realised "shoot! I forgot to put on the sunblock"!
After months of being relatively pain free, the very next morning I woke up with an aching shoulder, elbow and finger. Ouch! Now, every night I'm in pain. Wake up though, and couple of hours in, I'm OK again.
The weather may be great, but please do be careful all with the protection - even when it's grey or you are in shade as the UV rays do penetrate cloud cover and reflect off surfaces.
