Just thought I'd add this photo as its a giant tortoise helping Cotswold Wildlife Park celebrate their 50 th birthday. He's 85 years young and enjoying some birthday cake!. What a whopper!. X

George the tortoise has obviously been well looked after , wild life has really benefited from the lockdown 😀

Having that test on Friday, will let you know how it goes, whole house has been on lockdown for a week prior to it !!!!

Now that is a huge tortoise 🐢- my sister did have 3 normal tortoises but one died last year sadly x

Wow! Impressive size - he’s obviously had a happy and healthy life! We used to go to the Cotswold Wildlife Park a lot when the kids were small, such a lovely setting for the animals to be in. The Meerkats are enchanting! Lovely pic thanks for posting! Xx

Glad you liked the pic horse whisper. I should think he's their oldest resident and how lovely to learn how beautiful the Cotswold Park is!. Hopefully he'll go on living a lot longer and be able to celebrate more of his special birthdays as well as the Park's. Keep well and safe, enjoying those red kites. Xx😊

What a whopper indeed. He looks amazing!👍🏻 I hope the wildlife park is coping okay 🤞 as I hear on the news a lot of zoos and wildlife parks have been struggling since lockdown with no visitors so no income.

Thank you spotty for your lovely message. I do agree with you about wildlife parks suffering such loss of income!. It's a huge worry for all these animals. Just hope they all survive!.

I'm sorry I've not been in touch. Ive been so distracted by this Gadtro appt as its a new Consuktant for me and so I always like to prepare well!. I've also been given the run around by the IBD nurse too so once all is done I'll be in touch properly. I did start your lovely message and haven't got back to it yet!. No hurry for a reply Misty. Take your time and be well prepared for your appointment - that is important. I have one face to face on 30th July at the hospital as the new Rheumy wants to carry out tests regarding my burning feet and hands among other things. I just hope it goes ahead as we’ve just had a cluster of new cases in Gretna, Annan and Dumfries so restrictions have been tightened again in our area. Somebody from London came put to visit family then tested positive for Covid. 🤦‍♀️ I wonder if it was Dominic Cummings?? 😂

Thank you spotty for your understanding reply. It's such a worry now wondering if these important appts will go ahead. You'll have to wear a mask to go into the hospital now!. Do hope your Rheumy appt goes ahead as you've had those problems a long time, glad he wants to investigate them!. It's scary now with regional spikes in cases and more things opening that will add to the spread!. We need nerves of steel to get thru this. I'm grateful my appt is telephone so shoukd go ahead!.
