IN the states, high risk or not, are generally told to go home, stay in quarantine and self treat with lots of fluid, rest, Tylenol, and cold relief products if doctor approved for you. However, any breathing issues warrant a hospital call and possible admittance . Take care and I hope you are feeling better soon.
Coronavirus can trigger an overactive immune response where the lungs fill up with fluid from the immune response. So people with lupus can be endangered because it can trigger a flare with serious lung involvement and potentially lead to respiratory failure if your immune system overreacts too badly.
And people with asthma can have a similar response/problem.
If you're on steroids (currently) it can make it harder for your body to fight off the infection because your immune system is being suppressed. If you are not currently on steroids, that should not be a problem. Though steroids can lead to getting infected more easily, they can also can ease breathing, so it's a tricky balance for people with asthma/lupus and you need to follow doctor's orders for managing your breathing.
If you have lupus and know for sure you have coronavirus, just monitor yourself carefully and stay in contact (on the phone) with your doctor/hospital if you notice any worsening of symptoms or have difficulty breathing.
It's a very good sign that you have no temperature so your body is probably dealing with the virus well at this point. But stay in contact with doctor if there is any change in your symptoms for the worse and follow instructions and use whatever medication they prescribe for you. Go to the hospital if you experience a sudden turn for the worse.
