I loose my hair around this time of year normally about every 2 years though sometimes more often sometimes every few years. I was out of the country for 7 years in hot client but only fell out once. Since home in England it has fallen relentlessly. I carnt pin it down only to stress and anxiety of trying to survive here. Just lost for a conclusion except to shave my head !
PRP forever is going to get expensive and I know there is no gaurentee 😓
Really sorry to hear it, interesting about climate affecting your hair... Meds did it for me & dry scalp due to sjogrens (I think), but not excessively... I sure you have done your research on hair loss...hope someone has more experience....I wonder how ir correlates to our hormone balance...ml

I can relate to the hair loss..I feel for u..I cut mine off..couldn't stand it falling out everywhere..it's been great ever since!! We did it with clippers at home n as I wear a hat most of the time when outside it's not really noticeable when it's really short..n then as it grows it looks great!!
Another thing I'm gonna say which might make people shudder is that I very rarely wash my hair!! I'm really sensitive to water..it makes my skin flare ..I have SCLE..so I don't shower or bathe anymore!! It is true that hair cleans itself!! I lived off grid for 4years n we only had the means for strip washes..both me n hubby..hair washing became a rare occurrence!! When I had an assessment for ESA the woman asked me how I wash my hair n I said I don't I haven't washed it for a year..she put in her report that although I said I don't wash my hair..my appearance would indicate otherwise!! Kind of a backhanded compliment there I think!! 😆Xx

I think about going short but I do love longer hair.....I just think every time it won't fall again....it dose 😣
Not sure I could not wash myself or hair...though I have dropped down to shower twice a week an strip wash the rest cause my skin is dryer now 🙄
My hair falls out more during the warmer month. I was told by GP it’s a normal response, just like animals shed their fur during the warmer months 🤣. I laugh coz I compare myself to a wild animal living in the jungle preparing for summer!!!!
Doesn’t help though my hair is so thin these days 😩x

It is possible that exposure from ultraviolet light can exacerbate hair loss. Artificial lighting (especially energy efficient, fluorescent lighting) can also emit UV which can trigger a response in people with lupus. There are other triggers of hair loss in people with lupus which include Thyroid disorders (reversible)
