When I’m sick all hell let’s loose, my body doesn’t seem to cope too well.
Then there’s these nasal sores 😔 my nose is extremely painful right now, and I’m just wondering if the common cold increase nasal sores or if these sores are something else! I currently have swelling on the outside bit of the nose that separates the nostrils (not blistered) and a sore on the inside of a nostril! When I get a cold I can pretty much guarantee I will be blowing my nose for the next 6 weeks! My body doesn’t shift a cold too easily.
Just wondering if others notice increased nasal sores with a cold?

Lisalou, I can't say I've noticed a link between nose sores and a cold - might just be bad luck. They're really sore anyway but I do find that if you apply a little Vaseline with a cotton bud regularly that does soothe and seems to hurry up the healing.
Hello, they are so sore when they’re up your nose aren’t they? 😬 I haven’t noticed them more with a cold but I get them in a flare especially on the insides. I guess the problem is that it’s harder for them to heal when you’ve also got a cold as the new skin over the raw part gets torn off again as you blow your nose or gets a bit infected.
We were talking about this on here the other day but I can’t remember the post - think barnclown had some magic cream that worked but I’m not being very helpful as I also can’t remember that 🙄 maybe bactroban? Although I sometimes just use Vaseline. Hope they recover quickly x
I get random nasal sores for no reason! But I have a cold at the minute and my nose looks pretty awful. I just wondered if the sores were made worse by a cold.
My nose looks such a mess I don’t want to go out 😔
