Volunteers are needed for research into experiences of taking medications in people living with long-term health conditions (LTC) .

The researchers from Leeds are looking for participants with any type of chronic physical health condition, aged 13 and over for a study exploring how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours relate to taking medications. The study will involve completing a simple online survey. All participants will be asked if possible to complete the same questionnaire twice, once now and the other 3 months after completing the first version.

You are under no obligation to reply to this advertisement or the online survey. However, if you choose to, participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time. The study is approved by University of Leeds Ethics School of Medicine (SoMREC) subcommittee reference: MREC17-068.

The study is being conducted to look at how people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours relate to their adherence to medication. Your participation will increase knowledge in this area. You will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire asking about some general background information, your medical history, how your physical health condition has impacted your life, and how you think, feel, and behave in response to taking your medication. Overall, this study should last no longer than twenty to thirty minutes.

I’ve just done this survey Paul. But just for your info, as I realise you are just passing it on - ever so annoyingly -Sjögren’s seems to be the one long term condition not listed - which then definitely influenced my responses to the rest of this survey. 🤷🏼‍♀️😡
