severe headaches

for some reason I am now getting severe headaches and was told not to take aspirin, Motrin , Aleve, Motrin... what can you take with Methotrexate

It is probably best to ask your pharmacist what you can take with your existing medications and diagnoses, just to be safe.

Aloha kfmeme!!

I know the Methotrexate bottle states do not take other medicines such as Motrin but, my doctor still prescribes both of those medications to me monthly. I take Motrin so often that I probably have so many holes in my belly.....LoL!! That's not funny, but with all the stuff we suffer.....it is. I haven't been officially diagnosed with Lupus, yet but have been diagnosed with a lot of other health conditions. So many that i myself, cannot understand. This Lupus journey that we all go through is simply gross. Ha Ha. Sometimes I can't help myself but just laugh because as we all know.....it's either we laugh or, we cry. I'm sick & tired of being sick & tired.....AND, I'm so over crying. LoL.

I went totally off track with your Motrin concern, I'm so sorry.

Motrin helps me a lot. I haven't experienced anything bad taking the two medications together, except a little burning in my belly once in awhile. I guess as any other warning labels.....you doctor would just need to monitor you while on both.

I get fevers every single day & my body is kind of immune to Tylenol so Motrin is what controls my fevers.
