Tiger Nuts....I read that they are anti-inflammatory and high in fiber, which is great but they are Legumes. Are Lupies allowed to eat them?

Hi Kim :)

As far as I am aware we are still allowed to eat legumes. Unless you have allergies or other specialist dietary requirements I believe you are still allowed to eat whatever you want! The only food I've been recomended to stay away (other than my allergies) from is Garlic.

Please don't treat the tiger nuts as a replacement for any treatment you are taking but as long as you are not allergic I say enjoy them as they are a healthy snack :D

They aren't actually nuts (legumes) but tubers. Do a google search. I use tigernut flour - very delicious.
