Concern about kidney infection

Hi everyone I've got pain I'm my back I'm worried mayb it is kidney infection but I've done tests they only found that I had blood in urine

Any advice what to do

Have they requested any follow-up tests, such as urine cultures or blood tests to see why there was blood in your urine?

If the pain is due to a kidney infection it can usually be found in a urine test (unless the tube from the kIdney to the bladder is blocked). If persists needs to be checked againthis and for FOR A NON KIDNEY CAUSE. It is also very important in Lupus to have a further check on the blood looking under the microscope for details of the red blood cells to see if blood is from kidney (which may be Lupus activity) or from bladder (which may be sign of something else). SOMETIMES THE STICK TESTS FOR BLOOD GIVE A POSITIVE OF NO IMPORTANCE BUT NEEDS FURTHER CHECKS TO BE SURE as may indicate need for stronger treatment.. Doc Martin

If you have SLE Lupus - its always wise to have your kidneys checked not only for infection which can sometimes attract unwanted antibodies around the kidneys - but also for potential Kidney Damage. You need to exercise early preventative medicine as far as your Kidneys are concerned.
