Soles of feet

Hello all

The soles of my feet are throbbing and feel like they on fire, really painful.

Any ideas? Anyone else have anything similar?

Yes I have the same and have been suffering for a year now. Not sure if it is Fibro or Lupus!

Hello sharon

There are various causes for "burning" feet. Paul is right: first check out the LUK leaflet on feet. And consider whether your burning symptoms could be related to things like: meds, or raynauds etc. Talk to your gp & consultant about this too

My version of burning affects my feet, hands & face + ears mainly. It's diagnosed as being due to secondary simultaneous Erythromelalgia & Raynauds

Secondary erythromelalgia is usually less severe than primary. Here is a link to the best erythromelalgia info i've found:

A few of us here are diagnosed with Erythromelalgia....if you enter Burning Feet or Erythromelalgia in a forum Search, you'll find quite a few discussions.

Also, there is a HealthUnlocked forum: look in communities for The Erythromelalgia Association...today there is quite a good post on there

I've got peripheral neuropathy in my feet which them feel as if I'm standing on hot coals. Was given low dose of Amitriptylene which helps. Higher dose made me into a zombie !
