As part of my infinite search for the cause of my anaemia, I was sent to gynae today. (Referred in October, January appointment cancelled, waited a hour today) but worth the wait. A lovely man who took so much time to listen. Told me I was an inspiration after looking at the list of conditions I have, as I walked in with a smile and positive attitude. He said he would do his part to help with anaemia, pain irregular periods and at last the dryness, soreness and as a result lack of intercourse. So although high risk I'm in for surgery soon to get it sorted.
Here is the thankyou to Barnclown. After speaking on here about our problems down under, she spoke about Lichen Sclerosis and her treatments and management. I spoke about it, he agreed and has given me medication to use and a routine to follow.
Experience is always better than academic learning. I discussed this with him and he said that he felt their should be advocates for condition management. I totally agree.
