PIP assessment

I had my forms for changing from dla to pip which I sent back. I went to cab and they helped me with the forms, I had a letter back saying that they were arranging a home visit for tomorrow. Is it normal for a home visit, I though you had to request them. Any advice would be appreciated. Is it a bad sign that they are coming to my home? Many thanks

  • You usually have to ask for a home visit. If they have offered one to you, I'd take it as a good sign that they have fully taken on board the implications of your current condition

  • Hi spamula I agree with Lupiknits the obviously have taken into consideration your condition and that is a good sign. I requested a home visit and I could not have been happier with the lady that came out to see me. I received higher rates and middle rights for life. Just be genuine and totally honest with her or him. I wish you all the best of luck and take good care of yourself .🤗🤗🤗xxx Jan
