Although I am in remission, I am left with nerve damage chronic pain from the chemo. I went through. Anyone else with the same problem? I am 64 and am having a hard time bouncing back.

Leukemia A.L.L.
Nanaida, I just stumbled across your question. Not sure you're in the right place....you've posted on the Lupus Forum. I don't have Lupus. I have GCA and PMR. I sometimes pick up information on other forums, too.
I know of a few topical products that work for nerve damage. They're all over the counter....I live in the US and order from Amazon.
Capsaicin Cream
My Green Origin....Relief and Recovery
Pure Body Naturals Hot Cream
These are just suggestions. The Capsaicin cream has been used by my father for nerve damage after a terrible bout of shingles. I use the others for nerve damage and restless leg syndrome. The Hot Cream is actually listed as Cellulite Cream....works very well as a deep pain cream. I've also used it on my foot that has nerve damage.
I'm sure there are many others. Hopefully, something will work well for you.
Blessings, CJ
Thank you so much for the reply and the information!! I appreciate you taking the time!! God Bless!!
Hi, I wanted to reply although I agree you may be on the wrong site. My Dad, now 86 has Myeloma. He has been through two lots of Chemo and has been left with residual nerve pain. He has been seen by his consultant and referred to the pain clinic. None to the oral meds seem to help too much, but he has had better luck with heat pads. So I agree with Cjatthesea. All the best.
