Sketchers memory foam trainer. I used to feel like i was walking over gravel all the time , these shoes are so comfortable I don't want to take them off😀

Good old Clarks or Hotter seem to be all that I can manage these days with crocs in the summer. Frumpy? Yes, probably but I actually don't care anymore. I need heavily padded sole & heels - comfort wins every time!

This was my main problem when started with lupus. I hated frumpy shoes as always worn ' nice' ones. I have same pair of Clark's in blue brown and black, £50 > frumpy but comfy. I stopped going out socially as never felt 'dressed up'. 8 yrs later, still wearing the same type but can now wear others for short periods of time. Love summer for sandals lol. Hope you find some that suit you

I like the scetchers go walk with memory foam. Addidas has some snickers with memory foam now also that are good.

I have found that wearing the comfy shoe most of the time you can tolerate a less comfy shoe if you need to dress up 😀

Sketchers go walk are amazing, I couldn't live without them, they are a dream to put your feet into especially if I've been walking in other shoes as my feet get so painful and they really do ease the pain. I highly recommend them. 😃Xx

We have a store near us called Shoon who sell a range of shoes at the £50 plus kind of range - I've bought various shoes or sandals from them that I find more comfortable than hotter while not being so hideous I can't bring myself to wear them. Trying to think of the make of my sandals ... think it's picollino

Sketchers too, varies ones and walking Reebok's that are waterproof gore tex, good for warmth, also too, custom made insoles as I had planter fasciitis and that really helps my feet...Miss my boots, hope to wear them again someday, think my heels are out of my world now...ml

Hi kelpie21 ,

If you are having pain in your feet, it may be worth asking your GP of consultant if they can refer you to a podiatrist for further investigations. Lupus can sometimes cause the structure of the feet to be altered which can cause pain and potentially affect other parts of your body if your gait changes. You can read more about lupus and the feet at lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u...
