Hi everyone;

We are having our first cold snap here in Alabama, winter storm watch for tomorrow and Saturday. Up to 3 inches of snow possible. (That is a lot for us here in the south). It was 70 degrees Fahrenheit here Monday! Yep, common weather in Alabama.

Anyways, as I sit by the fireplace, a though came to me. As most of you know I have to go barefoot because of SLE. I have had several on this Commuinty of lupus family say they had to or were more comfortable going barefoot. I would like to have a day we set aside to go barefoot for the whole day (any day is my day) to show support for all who have lupus! The problem is this family is scattered all over the world, in the northern & southern hemispheres. So with that being said what month would be good for everyone? I know we have lupus family in Australia, Europe, UK, Canada & the U.S.A.

Let me know what y'all think, and we Could have some discussion and see if we can all find a day and have world wide support for all of us with Lupus?

THANKS

  • I think this is a great idea being in the UK the summer months are probably best, June July august but the weather here is never really guaranteed sometimes it's hotter in spring than summer!
