Does anyone have red patches on their nails? Most of my fingernails have them now but they're more noticeable on my right hand

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this symptom. Have you shown them to your doctor or consultant for their opinion? Hopefully other members of the community will have similar experiences that they can share too.

Hi Fabienne. I did look at that list but my problem isn't there. I saw something earlier that indicated heart disease but I don't have any of the symptoms. I'm assuming it's either lupus or psoriasis.

Hi -is it on the nail surface or under the nail on the bed? I have what I call my sunsets now on each nail - guessing in my case that it relates to Raynauds and that they are telangectasias -or tiny red spider veins, as I have these on my finger tips and palms and face too.

Have same thing all red around end of finger by nails

Could you take a photo of your nails to show us and you'd also have a good record of them for when you saw your Consultant. ?I've got problems with mine from fungal nail infection!. Proving to be hard to treat and keep losing nails. X

I've taken pics of everything else but the red doesn't show up lol. I saw the dermatologist yday and he diagnoswd severe eczema, which I've never had before. He conceded that lupus is a mimicker so will do a biopsy. Thanks, Misty14 x
