Just realized its been 10 months since my last update. Time to catch up with everyone.
We had an enjoyable summer. Crossed one off my bucket list. We rode our motorcycle to Alaska and back. Took 18 days and a total of 7950 km. It was a wonderful trip. I set the itinerary and was careful to do what worked best for me. They were full days of riding and some days the butt was a little sore. A hot bath and a glass of wine fixed that right up. Going to ride the bike more each summer now as long as we can.
Now for the Lupus news. I think I'm in remission. I have not had a flare since diagnosed. Feel very good most days. My Rheumy is pleased with my progress. He calls me his poster child of how the treatment is supposed to work. I take Plaquinel, Mycophenalate Mofeteil and Xarelto. Notice no pain meds. I have a monthly massage and keep warm (cold Canadian winters are not my friend) Still struggle with fatigue but as long as I get enough sleep at night and rest when I need to so far no problems.
Hope all you out there in LuLu Land are feeling well and as good as you can. We are Warriors and we might have Lupus but Lupus doesn't have us. Hugs and blessings to you all.

Congrats on being in remission👌👌👌👌...no pain meds must feel fab...this is great evidence that your daily combined therapy lupus meds are really truly suiting you. I think over here in the uk we call this pharmaceutical-induced remission (when you're continuing on lupus meds & lifestyle management...with inflammatory process effectively damped right down thanks to ongoing treatment that really fits your version of immune dysfunction)
Some days I think its too good to be true. However I am more organized now than I ever was. Waiting for the other shoe to drop and Lupus rearing its ugly head makes me plan ahead more. Its not even the end of November and I've finished my Christmas shopping, just have some wrapping to do. Thinking about some baking but think I'll pass on this. I don't have a sweet tooth and my husband bless his heart does. He's already 60 lbs overweight so doesn't need this.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.
