CK readings elevated

Hi, I have elevated ck levels since July. I'm on prednisone & also had methylpredisolne infusions. None seem to be reducing it, waiting on myosotis blood result & troponin test to see if there's damage to heart muscles to see if that's the cause.

Similar here....mri next week to help dx....if pos then muscle biopsy. What are your ck readings......mine are elevated but not drastic.

My ck reading is 4652 what's yours? My troponin has come back higher then expected too. Having a cardiac MRI in a couple of weeks. They also told me about a muscle biopsy. How was your MRI & what are your ck readings?

Recent diagnosis: dermatomyositis...fatigue, redness at eyelids, forehead, bridge of nose w peeling, fingers at cuticles, joint disfigurement and pain at elbows, knees and ankles, blurry eyesight. Just don't feel good n very tired most of the time! Also discoid lupus rash, pulmonary fibrosis oxygen 24/7 2 lets and CPAP. Tried many drugs, just taking naproxen 1000mg per day???? Just turned 79, first diagnosis about 15 yrs ago w MCTD, now UCTD. Who Gnu?
