Got my hernia operation on Thursday, all went well, I was taken first which was a relief. Now dreaded recovery 6 weeks doing very little.

My surgeon said did I realise I have a slow heart beat, I'm just curious but I get chest pain that's unexplained , sore to breath lie down or sit, walk. Could it be linked. Maybe a silly question.

hi molly best thing i can tell you to do after a couple of days is try walking to get your core mussels going cos they cut into these.

ive had a double one done in jan

If they have put somthing like tight pants on u get rid of these as soon as possible 2 days i would say

no bending over or hard working for at lese 2 weeks

but do try doing some little walks for the core mussle.

drink plent fluids after meals

Because they have cut through your core mussles you might find it hard to pee or go to the toilet I DID this is where you find you core mussles do to relive yourself as they heal it will get better.

any probs or somthing you dont know message me

regards john

Hi John, is after 6 days to soon to be doing a reasonable walk, my hernia operation was above my belly button. I see what you mean difficult to pee. They say four to six weeks, I'm bored already. Are you completely healed now, were you a while in getting about. I see you like bikes, I myself have a wee yamaha scooter49cc.

HI JULIE SORY FOR DELAY my problems at the moment and im not say you will be the same ******** 4 to 6 weeks It will take in total 6 months for the tinsel you have in their for the body mussles to grow into that mesh so it like be carefull for that period of time Im not saying julie wrap yourself in cotton wool But dot like be doing the cleaning on your side and getting up of the floor straining one side of the body. you may also find you get a few twinges in the left or right side of the body This is because all the mussle that was cut through is healing up . Keep doing your walking to get your core mussles up going a bit further every day. a good exersise also is tensing your coure mussles standing up do this about 5 times and hold for 5 seconds.

If you have any problems julie message me you dont say what you have as an illness but watch for any flair ups you might have because this has been a bit of a trauma even thoug you dont know it yet BUT YOUR BODY DOES IF YOU HAVE AN IMMUNE PROBLEMS. aNG GUT GROWLING PROBLEMS OR CRAMPING PAINS streight back to the docs.

hi again see you have lupus Dont forget someone has put tinsel in your body and you have lupus not to frighten you but be aware of any pain in those areas a little pain is acceptable but an anoying pain could be your body saying what the hell is this this dosnt belong here this tinsel thing. JUST saying dont get allarmed might not happen at all.

Thank you so much John, I will be carefully as wouldn't like to go through that operation again. Yes it's Lupus I have. Mine disfigured my face as muscle and tissue damage, so surgeons built up my face with bum and groin, looks fine but I'm self conscious of it. But hey, you yourself sound if your having a difficult time, is it lupus you have to.

Thank you again for your time. Take care. 😊

I've only walked small distances, but seem fine, maybe your double groin was was a much larger operation, I feel for you. Yesterday I was fine today a little sore, feel slightly nausea with certain foods and I love my cuppy tea but not enjoying at all anymore. Hope you improve.

thats ok small walks are good just keep to verry flat ground to get round no uneven paths puts strains in other areas in your condition Little time walking aa couple of times a day even if its up your drive way

You may have found that its hard to rest on your side in bed this is perfectly normal takes about a week to be able to sleep on your side.

any aches and pain just ask i will tell you even when its nitting together you still get little twinges this its the mussle knitting back together dont worry about it just keep doing what you are doing in 2 weeks i will give you another easy exersise on lying on bed to do to make that core go stronger and help dead simple.

Hello Molly, I think you should go to your GP and discuss this problem, perhaps a referral to a specialist is needed. Don't leave it.

Hope you feel better soon.

I had mine last year, same kind too. The pain was horrible, dying would of been far easier to deal with. Omg! After five wire sutures and pig meat and skin, I'll be having another soon. I'm so thrilled.😨😲

Darn now I can't go into government buildings, without setting off their security alarms. With my luck, they'd think I was a terrorist and shoot me!!! Crap, no airplane traveling either. This sucks.

I'd much rather give birth, simply horrible
