The Essence of a New Day

My mother copied this from something she had read and I have just found it again whilst clearing out and it has made me think I need to be in control of my SLE. It's goes like this.

"This is the Beginning of a New Day,

You have been given this Day to use as you will.

You can waste it or use it for good.

What you do Today is important

Because you are exchanging a Day of your Life for It.

When Tomorrow comes, This Day will be gone Forever,

In its place is something that you have left Behind.......

Let it be Something Good" 🌻

Many of you have possibly already read this poem, It's made me think I should stop moaning about the way I am feeling and take a leaf out of Tiras book and grab life with both hands and just accept what I have is here to stay and it won't leave me till the day I no longer walk this earth.

If anyone else has found any poems that would help us please post them.

I had to smile when I saw I was referenced in your post. I have made a postive impact to help someone, that is what life is all about! Helping each other. Sharing our issues so others can draw strength from our issues.

I have to go barefoot due to lupus and, I am sitting in a restaurant eating lunch with my Granddaughter. I am barefoot and no one says, looks, or even pays attention to it. We have to live with what we have, and make the best of it.

As usual my mottos are this. Maby I should Change this from a motto to a mission statement?
