reducing immunosuppressants...

Hi all, I got the great news today that as I am in remission I can start reducing my dose of MMF after 2 years of taking it. I wondered if anyone else has experience of reducing and coming off MMF totally... I was told by my doctor that I wil have to go to have bloods done every 4 weeks and that the lupus nephritis could come back but it a risk we have to take!

Scared and nervous as I have been feeling so good for a while now!

My rheumy cut mine in 1/2 in May 2015. His goal is to get me off them too. So far so good. Had a scare last week but turned out to be low grade infection someplace. Antibiotics kicked it out and feel fine now.

Hi Heights69

Two years ago I just came off MMF, was told you can just stop taking it safely without reducing doses.

Good luck to you, big moment, it's good you will still be well monitored. X

I came off earlier this year. So far so good. Regular blood tests. Worth coming off and reviewing bloods. Best wishes Eddie
