Rituximab....

Finished my 2nd dose of rituximab infusion yesterday. Just got to wait a couple of months before treatment takes affect. Still got these ulcers feet, trying another dressing named prodem........ Time to get up!

Hi So happy to know someone is able to get this drug as I am not able to get the funding for it. Do you mind if I ask you what your diagnosis is. I have Mixed Connective tissue disease with lung involvement and all the other lupus related disease.

I also have mixed connective tissue disease, sle which I have had for many years. I had to try all other drugs before i could be considered for this funding.

I dont know why your consultant can not sort this out for you. You just have to meet the criteria. Keep us posted

I have tried all the other drugs available but they have not had any effect on my lungs. How does your MCD affect you? have you got lung involvement?

My consultant have tried four times but the funding committee thinks there is not enough people in my area with with lung involvement for them to compare whether the drug would work.

I will keep you posted as to whether I receive the funding
