Hi all. Can anyone give me advice on travel insurance. I would like to see my little granddaughter in Switzerland on her 5th birthday.

Hi flossy1,

We have a list of travel insurance providers that cover people with pre-existing medical conditions. You can find them on our website here - lupusuk.org.uk/living-with-...

Hi flossy1,

I am going to Switzerland on a skiing holiday in February. I am insured with insureandgo. Have been getting insurance with them for quite a few years,, no problems so far, but thankfully did not have to use it. It cost me just over £40 for over a week. Should be cheaper if you are not going to do winter sports.

Thank you all for info. It sounds as though it's not going to be as difficult or as expensive as I thought. Everyone on this site is really kind and helpful. X
