Lupus & thyroid testing

Hi all, I'm new to this but have found all your posts very interesting.

I was wondering if anybody was aware of how lupus can affect thyroid blood tests results. I'm sure I read somewhere that results can be sometimes be messed up and I'm going back to gp on thurs to request more blood tests.
