confused over whether to make a fuss or not.

I posted earlier this week about feeling breathless. went to the doctors yesterday, lungs and cheste were clear, but heart is beating fast but regular.Suggested I had a chest x ray on monday and a trace. the only reason I was a bit surprised at her, what I thought was a laid back approach was my cardiac history. I was diagnosed in 2005 with aortic regurgitation(leaking heart valve). high blood pressure and my heart rate tends to race now and again. She was surprised when she read my history and saw I had a leaking heart valve, because she said she couldn't hear it.

Anyway she said if it didn't improve over the weekend to go to A & E. But I would feel a bit uneasy if I was brushed off there as well and I would feel as if I was wasting time.

Today the heat is getting to me a bit, feeling sick, headache to cry over and still on the breathless side.

It's your life, the Doctor has given you permission to go to A&E don't feel that you are wasting their time that's what they are there for,

I would get someone to take you now or if you feel really bad phone 999

Good luck the least they would do is to give you a heart trace.

Get to A&E if you feel ill but I would arrange a referral to a cardiologist early next week, for a proper opinion. Tell your GP that you remain concerned about your heart and that you'd be grateful for a speedy referral. If you know the surgery's email address, email your request first, then follow up with a phone call.

I have been having breathing problems, I went to a&e few time but everything showed normal. My consultant sent me for a scan on my heart, breathing test etc. at first they thought I had pulmonary hypertension so referred me to Sheffield royal Hallam had MRI & other test. Couldn't find anything. Referred me to lung specialist lungs r fine but now they r telling me I might be asthmatic and been given inhalers yet I'm never wheezy. My breathing problem is totally different to a person with an asthma as I know people who suffers from asthma. I have been told I have dysfunctional breathing so I been referred for physiotherapy.
