Having a biopsy tomorrow and I have read and been told what they do but can I have some feedback on experiences. I have allergies to most antibiotics so wonder do they automatically give them to you or can you get by without them as I don;t really want to send my self into another reaction again, just getting over the last one finally.

My daughter had a biopsy and she wadnt given any antibiotics. Had a couple of stitches sndtold to gargle. It was the results that confirmed sjogrens. Good luck with your appt.

Thanks DJ66 no antibiotics thank heavens so didn't have to have that argument! It isn't too bad just a bit sore.

Had one of these a few years ago and yes it was a little sore....I was told to rinse with salt water for a few days and the stitches dissolved...all went well

Thanks ChrisJ yes he told me to do that I keep forgetting and he didn't say how often either oh well.
