Hi all,
Has anyone else had stroke like symptoms with all normal bloods besides high Calcium?
I've been to the GP and she says it's nothing to worry about. I am also calling her once again today. But I'm curious if anyone else has had these symptoms?
Thanks so much and I hope you are as well as you possibly can be today ππΌπ»π§ββοΈπ
Hi Shhilo

Iβm shocked no replies.
Yes...too much calcium can cause severe damage to kidneys heart brain and so many other complications. I googled it and there is a lot of good info in detail about this. It mostly is caused from your parathyroid glands.
It is something to be worried about. I would definitely see a Specialist about it. Better safe than sorry.
Luv ya. EJ

Good Morning,
I hate going to the GP's I feel like a complainer.... But I did go and I've enquired about it and nothing came of it. I tried to make a telephone appointment and unfortunately spoke to a long term receptionist who makes you feel it will come out of her pocket if she helps, with the tone of her voice. She said the GP would get angry at her if she tried to make a telephone appointment for me next time she was in. I never go until it at the point of scaring me. I should have just dialed 999, but would it be just another problem that is 'YOUR FINE'

Sooo sorry sweetie.
Love and hugs xxx
Recently asked to see about referral for Rheumatologist for totally different issue, Osteoarthritis becoming very problematic in knee. He's refused as he couldn't help me last time. He's never examined me! No one has ever examined it for Osteoarthritis, other than confirmation of xrays.
So I sit at home waiting to see how long before pain and inability of movement decides my fate. Because I'm afraid I have no more fight.
I hope you are in a better frame of mind than myself.

Oh sweetie. Iβm sorry about all the walls you are slammed against each time you go to seek help. Iβve been through that most of my life and it really stinks!!!
Is there anyway you go private for you knee s ??
Maybe a confirmation via that way with your documentation proving your diagnosis could be used in the NHS clinics.
In the meantime could you buy a knee support band to aid with the pain and mobility problems??
Bless your soul sweetie. I just prayed for you sweetie.
Sending you lots of hugs and love dear.

I've been wearing supports for some time due to hEDS, which many will say that's why the osteo. But this started before I wore them, when I still ran my business and was extremely active. I finally gave into using a stick, supports etc. Well I'm not telling you anything new am I?
It is soul destroying.
Sorry, not a positive day.
I hope you are as well as You can be today!
