Just wanted to say it’s been 9 yrs since I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, I’ve had chemotherapy twice, radiotherapy to lymph glands to chest wall and received immunotherapy for 2 yrs, now it’s been watch and wait since April 2018, scans every 3 moths and they have shown stable, due nxt scan in March, I’m being looked after by a fantastic team at Christie’s in Manchester

Fantastic. Hope this continues for many more years. I’m doing the same watch and wait, with scans every 3 months. Diagnosed stage 4 nsclc 7 years ago in March. Immunotherapy finished a year ago.x

this is great Liampaul03 keep it up and wishing you all the best for the future great news 😊👍❤👊

Hi. Brilliant news. My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer too, 4 years ago and has also has 2 rounds of chemo, and 1 year's immunotherapy. He's been stable for 2 years now. Next check-up/scan end of this month. Amazing progress in treatments at the moment aren't there! You and my husband are 2 of the lucky ones - I know immuno doesn't work for everyone who can have it! He's being treated at Worcester Royal and despite their bad A&E reputation, the cancer care he's received has been brilliant! Keep going strong!

Congratulations and welcome to the 9 year club! Sending hope that you enjoy many more milestones like this one.

Congratulations. Here’s to many more. I am six years in too xx

Brillant news Liampaul. Thanks for sharing. The very best wishes to you and your family.

This entire thread has made me feel so much better. Well done to you all xx

Thank you for lifting me up again and reminding me that I am going to be here in another 10 years time if not longer. It is wonderful to read all of the messages of hope. Thank you

Your story is very inspiring. My husband should be starting combined therapy on Wednesday. He is not sure about going ahead but your story shows how treatment and courage can help so much.

Thank you so much for sharing your good news. Whenever I start to feel very worried I log into this site and someone like yourself lifts my spirits back up. I wish you all the best for the next 9 years.

How are you doing Liampaul, I notice that you're at Christie's, thats where I am for stage 4 NSCLC. Start Immunology treatment next week. Sending my love.

Fantastic! Hope it continues for many more years 🌈
