Counselling

I saw my counsellor at the cancer support centre today. It doesn't change anything but it's good to have someone neutral to talk to and cry of course.

Afterwards I had a little wander and got something special for supper.

My husband was totally supportive so why did I feel bad leaving him?

probably due to the fact that your husband is supportive but you need someone neutral too. I go to counselling and it has helped me even though I do cry a lot in there I know if I cry at home it upsets everyone so tend to bottle it up or cry in the shower or in bed at night. We are lucky to have support from people who love us but cancer counsellors are trained and know how to help us get through this dreadful turmoil of the mind.

I cry most days including in front of my husband. Your right that counsellors are the people who can help in this awful time.

Hope you are supported.
