Hi there, you will be fine once you have had your biopsy.it feels like eternity but things move pretty quick once the doctors have your results.

Stay strong . Wishing you luck . ☺xx

I am sure your family wont think that way at all. I know I felt the same at first, but my family were so supportive I didnt feel guilty. :) xx

Felt the same way six months ago and now showing little sign of cancer after taking a targeted drug. The next worst thing to the waiting was telling my family but they proved to be very strong and supportive. Each one deals with the situation differently, I convinced myself they would tell me there was nothing they could do for me and started to sort out my affairs and plan what I would do with the time I had left. If you can turn the negatives into the positives you will find it gives you a bit of support. You also have to be a bit selfish at this stage, you have the cancer so concentrate on yourself, you need all your strength physical as well as mentally. Do not look at cancer survival rates as they are all so out of date and I would stay away from the Internet, I didn't and it convinced me I wouldn't see the next 24 hours!! Take care and put your trust in your team, they know what your going through. Keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on. Positive thoughts are with you. Iris.

Welcome to the group that we all wish we weren't members of ! :) Understand the fear and worry - at least as you're in the pathway with all the appropriate tests/checks being done so that's the good part…. waiting is always difficult so I find distraction the best technique - immersing myself in an escapist film or swimming or something else. Once you have correct diagnosis about your own personal situation, then the team assigned to your medical care and you can plan what options there are. Good luck…. pop on here when you can - good, bad and other news always welcome :)
