hiyaa clown

ssorry you've been having such a rough time

absolutely no idea on the carpal tunnel question, sorry, but if they're hurting a lot more than 'normal for clown' i'd give your lymphoedema service a ring

it could be all sorts of things including more than 'normal for clown' lymph - i know when my arms get congested they feel like huge swathes of heavy toothache, & when my chest does it's more like hot boulders trying to stop my ribs from moving, but i also get nerve impingement from a bu**ered shoulder which is exacerbated by congestion & does the classic red hot poker pain

i wonder about cording, too - if it doesn't hurt too much, hold your arm out straight palm upwards & gently pull the wrist down with the other hand till you just feel a gentle pull (STOP if it hurts & DON'T force it past a slight feeling of pulling). hold the stretch for a minute & see if it feels a tiny bit better when you let go - if it does, it's almost definitely sthg soft tissue so getting to see a physio who knows about bc would be good

hope you get to find out what it is & what to do about it, & that if you need some comfort you can get a good hug from someone & not have to resort to chocolate / cheese!

My first reaction is : Thankgoodness I am normal! There are others out there in pain. Sorry - I really don't wish anyone any pain. Norberte: What do you do for relief? any extra movement is very painful. I am waiting for an appointment having had referral to Prof. Mortimer. I do aqua-aerobics twice a week. I feel a bit in limbo and really would like a professional to tell what i can/can't do.

I have lymphoedema to my legs and I have carpal tunnel. About 2 years ago I was tested to confirm it (painful). Since then I have lost a fair bit of weight and the symptoms are not so severe. I was due to have the surgery to fix the carpel tunnel but the weight loss reduced the incidences. The consultant told me he didnt believe in my case it was just due to lymph but also fat lipodeama or something like that.. I am not sure of the direct link between lymph and carpel tunnel just sharing my experience.

All the best.
