What to use to wash compressions

Reading about washing stockings in bi.carb why do this . I just wash mine with normal wash is this advisable and would it make a difference if I wash them on own . I have arthritis in hands and find it difficult to hand wash

Wash with a normal wash - 30 degrees - is absolutely fine. Some people use a sensitive skin detergent out of choice.

Hi there. I was told wash on gentle cycle no fabric softener. Been doing it this way for years. I sure understand about hands hurting/ not working great.

I have had Primary Lymphedema for many years and finally found my way to the Mayo Clinic in 2001. They recognized it right away and told me to use Dreft Baby detergent and no fabric softener.
