SAPL SUCTION

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I posted. My left leg that I had Sapl suction on is doing GREAT. I just had my right leg done 3 days ago. This time I was awake. Doctor decide to do Tumescent water surgery this time. My leg is doing fantastic but a little sore. I am beyond happy. My goal in next 6 months is to wear boots again. I have no doubt that I will. The first surgery on left leg reduced my weight by 17 lbs. The current surgery should result in about another 16 to 18 lbs. Needless to say my balance is better. My back isn't being thrown out as much either. Will keep everyone posted in a few weeks. I'm one happy person. I will talk with anyone who wants more information.

(A 40 yr old client of mine had similar surgery, then blew £1000 on a selection of boots and shoes - 4 yrs later, still looks fab and still wears the boots!)

Hi snaomi.

Where did you have your sapl done?

I’m getting self funded sapl in Oxford next year.

I had lva surgery in 2014.

I have residual fatty tissue causing a 3 inch sIze difference in my calf. My right calf is 15 inches.

Needless to say it’s a daily torture.

Glad youre Doing well and looking forward to wearing 👢. As am I.

I know it’s a brutal operation and there is a lot of recovery time.

It’s all I can look forward to at the minute. 😊

I emailed you just a few minutes ago. I also wanted to tell you that my recovery wasn't near as brutal as I thought it would be. There are moments but overall not bad.
