Unused compression stockings

I have a couple of pairs of unused compression stockings that were wrongly sized for me. Is there anywhere I could send these to benefit others?

Sadly no - clinics will not accept returns, nor, if they are made to measure, can they be given to others.

Some of my clients use their leg garments as planters in the garden! Fill them with soil, make some vertical slits in a few places, then put in herbs or flowers!!

Oh wow! that's a connection I haven't made! I'm a keen gardener, allotmenter and upcycler. What a great way to join the dots. I'm waiting for my next pair of made to measures in a smaller size.

Hi, I've just looked at the LSN Facebook page, they've put a post up saying a Lymphodema Practitioner is collecting unused compression garments to send to disadvantaged countries, might be worth a look

Hi Jennymary - can you add the link you found to a post here? I’ve trawled their Facebook pages and website, but can’t find anything.

I was involved in the collection of unused garments in 2003. Sadly, many were rejected, so I hope this new initiative is successful - and I would like to contribute.

I have just gave 2 brand new pairs to my LD nurse as wrong ones were ordered. They ordered knobbled top instead of lace grip top.
