After being diagnosed with lymphoedema last August and wearing surgical stocking which didn't seem to do much I have just been told the consultant got it wrong and I actually have lipodema. Anyone any suggestions and results on dealing with this please ?

The Lymphoedema Support Network (LSN) lymphoedema.org have information on lipodema and there are now support groups specifically for liopodema. The LSN will have details.
You may find lipoedema.co.uk a useful site.
