Sounds great - is this being done by an NHS clinic?

Hi Lynora, yes it's being done at my local NHS lymphodema clinic, twice a week for three weeks, not sure if I'd get any more of this treatment in the future or if once you've had it done once that's it.

Definitely, I have MLD and use kinesic taping and it really helps.

hi, I have lllt and mld done at a local lymphoedema clinic. I try and have it done every 6 months ish. It certainly helps. I am sensitive to the tape they use and can only keep it on for a few days. I find it all helps. Hope it helps you too. X

Goodness this sounds like a great service and it's good to hear about service improvements at last as so many with lymhoedema are still struggling to even be diagnosed properly!

I have the MLD once a week. It really helps but as you know it cannot cure the illness. My treatment is given by CanSupport Halton through the Macmillan Delamere Centre.

Hi I had treatment over 4 weeks last year - came as an outpatient - mon-Frid for 3 weeks - had MLD , and leg wrapped - sorry I can't remember the name of it. Fourth week - I went back twice I think to get remeasured & MLD

Amazing results - leg went from 55% to 27% - reduced by 3 litres

Good luck

Wow Debi that's amazing, I'm going for my next mammogram in a few weeks and we have a MacMillan Centre next to to clinic so I'll pop in and see if they can offer anything
