I would also recommend Duo boots. Also have you tried buying mens footwear? Certainly my trainers and trecking shoes are mens. I bought some men's trecking shoes several years ago and have worn them in all weather both winter and summer. I am going to get another pair shortly as they are now very well worn. I do sympathise with the upset of getting footwear and particularly boots. Since I started getting Duo boots and some men's footwear I have found it far less of an emotional experience. Good luck.

Hi I have Primary Lymphoedema and this has been a problem for me for years. Some years Evans are Ok sometimes not. However this year I have bought some from Fashion World. Extra wide fit. Extra wide calf. Only do them in black and they are flat but fit me and thats a bonus. My legs are really bad so give them a try in your own home its not so upsetting when they dont fit. Best of luck.

None of the above Cosyfeet are specialists for our problems. All my foot wear comes from there.

Hello this is a battle I know only too well. I send you lots of empathy and just a ray of hope, firstly what size are your feet and I dont mean normally , I mean now.

Mine origionaly were size 7 I spent many years in a very frustrated state as my feet grew and eventually with the help of Farrow wraps they are now size 9 EEEEE wide

. I have bemoaned pretty shoes but at last a ray of sunshine from Cosey Feet wide fitting shoes. They go up to my size and accepting they are just utilitarian and that is what they have to be - they are great! They fit I can go places and who looks at your feet - only you.

So smile with me and good luck there are other firms thT NOW DO THIS SIZE SHOE TAILOR .

Good luck

Hi, just had a search and there is lots of info here:

lymphedemagirl.blogspot.co....

Obviously, one can have specially made ones, I am sure it will be costly but, they tend to last for a long long time as better made and maybe offer better support as well?

There is a shop in London on Orthotics On-line London, 12 New Cavendish Street

Marylebone, London W1G 8UN, orthotics-online.co.uk

Hope this has been of help. Do not get upset, I was a slim 46kg 5ft girl with athletic legs and could NEVER

EVER fit in any boots made for everyone as they tend to make them for taller people with no muscles so the calf part always was in the wrong place!

Best wishes!
