Hi folks.

I'm also new to this forum, but not to HU (I post regularly on the AsthmaUK forum). I'm in my mid-50s & have had asthma since I was 3.

My life story is of it being mistreated until my 20s, brilliantly treated until my late 40s, but then a very serious deterioration after that, probably due to damage from the poor/lack of treatment I received earlier in life.

As well as asthma, I have ABPA & a form of bronchiectasis, but muddle along coughing & spluttering! I currently work as a primary school teacher, something I retrained as after redundancy & overcoming the semi-collapse of my health a few years ago.

I look forward to getting to know people on here anyway.

John
