I very occasionally get the sense that I’m having an allergic reaction and checking my skin if I have some type of rush. I’ve had an allergic reaction to the sun twice in my life and even so it was a symptom of stomach pills.

every time and I keep checking if something is wrong even a mosquito bite would freak me out that it may be the start of an allergic reaction.

I totally understand! I have a fear of having an allergic reaction to foods and medications.... Everytime I try a new medication I swear my mouth starts itching and feeling swollen.... The mind is an interesting thing. I use deep breathing now to try to be calm when I think I'm having a reaction.

Can relate to the checking thing i sta rt to check myself everyday all day. Even if there's nothing wrong I'm still looking wish i could just stop doing it. Easier said than done when you have strange symptoms everyday.

I completely get it! My skin actually bruises really easily and it stays there for ages. I hate the way that scars look. It's important to rationalise your thoughts though, to remind yourself that you are aware that you overthink things like this and the chances are, that if you are using sunscreen and are not eating things that you are allergic to - then you're absolutely fine. Perhaps see a doctor to get a test done to see what you actually are allergic to? So that you'll know for sure.
