HI,

I moved away from my parents about 4 years ago. Even though I was only moving an hour away from my home town it was a big deal as my mum was a big help with my depression.

When I moved into my new place it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was ok because I knew I had the phone if I ever wanted to speak to my mum or I could just drive home no matter what time of day it was. It is scary knowing that you are moving out on your own but its also a huge achievement and the panic attacks are just messing with your head because you will be ok. You will be getting them because you`re scared but if you try and focus of the positives of moving out and maybe get excited about the future that might help?

Hope this was a little help and good luck

Thanks, it does help having someone to talk to. I moved in with my fiancé after we dated for 3 years and then got engaged 3 months ago. (Before we moved in together). It's been really hard for me as I feel like I'm not exactly myself anymore and it's upsetting me a lot :(

It takes time to feel comfortable again. You're basically changing your whole life and your routine that you've always had. I think in time you will feel more comfortable living with him. Maybe you could speak to him tell him how you feel?

Btw congratulations 😊
