Hi! Asian guy here,from the Bay Area..was diagnosed about 2 years ago and still trying to process all of this. Have you ever been to a support group? I was just wondering since I find it hard to join one. Most are in the city but I really hate driving into the city, the streets just confuse me. Hey there. Been undetectable for 2years now and it was a rough going the first year trying to get my T cells up both emotionally and physically. Hang in there. As the saying goes "Time will heal itself" plays a vital role in coping. For me personally I have been doing long bike rides as it helps me process and appreciate the simple things in life. Biked 120 miles this weekend. Find an activity that you love. Gardening, reading, sewing, painting, meditating are all crucial in creating an inner peace and strength.
I highly recommend a book that I accidentally ran into at a Buddhist bookstore whilst looking for a Dan Brown novel. It's titled
