I know you are afraid, it is very normal though I want to say fear is good because this means you are human. So have fear but don't let this over whelm you. With today's treatments people are living normal healthy lives. You can contact me if you like and I can be the support you need to deal and overcome this fear. You are a what I call "a newbie". Hello Kelvin, take a deep breath and remember that you do not know the results. Stop jumping to conclusion, just go on with your life until the test came back. When you go for the results take someone with you that you trust that you can tell them the result if it is bad or good news. Make sure you are having safe sex because when you go back and it is good new you do not want to go back in 6 months to find out now you have it like I did.

No need to be scared, getting HIV is not a death sentence, I have been poz since 1982, and I haven't been sick and I'm undetectable, meaning there is no trace of the virus in my system, have then they have me 6mo to live, and I'm still here 3 decades later, your going to be just fine, they have come a long way with treatment, I'm on a regiment of only 2 pills, keep a clear head, visit the doctors every 6 months and know you can get passed this, it's not the end of your world.

I had unprotected sex on 8th February with a high risk person and a few days after I have had a store throat and been unwell ever since. I have started to have night sweats which means I can't sleep

I took a 20 min hiv blood test which was non reactive on 27th February and my bloods taken and I'm awaiting that result

I'm so scared that I am hiv pos

What advice can you give me ?
