Saturday night was a good excuse to put on an evening dress and sparkly dancing shoes and have some fun. I have been a member of the Dundee Dragons for two years and it has been really good to meet up with like minded people who have CP and different disabilities. I have been fairly inactive on the sports side this year due to health reasons but they offer a great range of sports such as curling , badminton ,Quad Rugby (murder ball), tennis , basket ball , archery and rugby league for more information see: dundeedragons.net/.

Saturday night was a great fundraiser for the club. I went to the ball with my best friend James. We enjoyed a three course meal , a raffle and an live auction and silent auction.

The meal was lovely however the starter was soup, a meal I always dread when I’m out! CP and soup don’t always go together but I managed to eat the soup without any major spillages. Phew!! There was a band and live music and of course an opportunity to dance. Although I prefer to people watch and socialise with a cocktail in my hand. As you will see from the picture below my dress was lace and royal blue with silver shoes and accessories. I was really pleased with the sandals as they are flats but look gorgeous. Many of you with CP will know how difficult it is to buy flats like these.
