I use baclofen, and have done for about six months. I would say for me it has been a massive success, I couldn't imagine life without it now as it takes the edge off the tightness and I feel I have a bit more energy.

It also makes things easier at the start of the day and helps me to relax and sleep better....

I'm glad to hear that you find it so positive - my little Tom (3) has just started using it and we've found it to be fab (although it has decreased his tone ALL over not just the bits we want to decrease tone in, making his already low tone core muscles even more low tone, and making it harder to chew and speak clearly.) I wish Baclofen could be targeted to the areas where it is needed like Botox. Tom is too tight all over for Botox to be of use - he'd OD on botox as he would need it in too many places!

It does take some getting used to and to find the right dose.

I found it made me too lose and a bit (more) wobbly when I first started taking it, I also found it made my grip in my left hand (which is my 'worse' side) a bit weaker, but now I've adapted it's great, I couldn't imagine life without it!

I find it helps too. my muscle tone is reduced and it doesn't make you to tired unlike Diazapam and you don't have the risk of addiction with it. Always a bonus.
