Massive headache, Dizzyness

I am a new member. I have Lyme and have been symptomatic since 1992 when I removed an engorged tick. I was very sick but diagnosed with a virus. Some virus! It reemerges over and over again despite being treated with antibiotics in years past. I think the severe headache is Lyme encephalitis. What should I do to get help if my Lyme tests have been negative? I need pain relief but only an illegal med helps. Aspirin doesn't work and hurts my stomach. I can't take any Tylenol containing meds like Percocet due to kidney problems and am doubtful that it can deal with such severe pain.

have you tried meds for migraines? I take sumatriptan, also make sure you are well hydrated and often a massage helps with the pain and tension as my pain originates from my back going up my neck to the head. I wear sunglasses most of the time as the pain makes me super light sensitive

The headaches are once or twice a year and last for over a week. I use heat on back of neck and ice on front. They don't go away when I do that. I just do it to get some relief. I am bedbound. I have not been prescribed anything more than hydrocodone. It is not strong enough. I don't know if what I have could be considered migraine.
